Barbara Barron Herndon, CMCA® AMS®, CPM®, PCAM® - President and CEO
As CEO and President of ProComm, Barbara Herndon oversees the firm’s management operations in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and McAllen. Ms. Herndon is a hands-on leader who is involved in the daily operations of each ProComm location, supervision of management services, marketing and new client relations.
Ms. Herndon has been in business management, commercial property management, resort management and community association management more than 26 years and has held the positions of President/CEO of Association Services of Florida in Miramar FL, Regional Vice President of Principal Management Group’s Arlington/Ft. Worth office, Vice President of Property Management for Central Management, Inc. and Corporate Property Manager for Wells Fargo Bank.
Ms. Herndon holds the following professional designations: Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) and Association Management Specialist (AMS), awarded by Community Associations Institute; Certified Property Manager (CPM), awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM).
Ms. Herndon stays actively involved in Community Association Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Management. Ms. Herndon has facilitated education/training courses for community managers across the nation, and continues to encourage, educate, and mentor co-workers within Associa.
Sue Womack, CPM®, CMCA® - Vice President
Ms. Womack's professional experience includes some twenty years in the residential real estate industry, where she has managed multi-family, and condominium communities in addition to extensive work in the acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing units, single-family housing development and creation of supportive services for residents of the communities. Ms. Womack holds the CPM and CMCA professional certifications.
Sandra Vela-Mora, CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM® - Assistant Vice President
Ms. Vela-Mora's professional experience includes fifteen years in the real estate industry including commercial and residential property management and specializing in community association management for over eleven years. During this time, she has worked to obtain the professional designations of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) and Association Management Specialist (AMS), awarded by Community Associations Institute (CAI); and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers (NBC-CAM).
On September 20, 2007, Ms. Vela-Mora joined the Associa ProComm family lending her knowledge to the training, supervision, education and support of our managers. Additionally, Ms. Vela-Mora works in Developer relations and assists the President with the oversight and growth of our South Texas operation.
Carol Fox, CMCA®, AMS® - Assistant Vice President
Ms. Fox works with all the managers on a daily basis and provides them with support, guidance and education. Ms. Fox's experience includes over 20 years in the real estate industry, including multi-family where she held a double designation as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT). Ms. Fox has also received achievement awards for her work for different programs and events from the San Antonio Apartment Association that included CAM of the year and Manager of the Year.
Ms. Fox currently holds the professional designations: Association Management Specialist (AMS), awarded by Community Associations Institute; Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers (NBC-CAM). Ms. Fox has been part of the Associa family for over six years.
